I like them V, are they ment to be as one cover or each seperate? if seperate, I think I like the top right one best. I like the tweedy type texture and Jeremy often wears a tweed jacket or waistcoat when we play.
Anyone elses opinions?
i prefer the top left - more midlands to me - it may need a logo similar to paolo nutini though - just to give it a more human feel :)
liam: ja, but maybe the hessian needs to be more earthy, perhaps the black/grey is a bit hard.
dale: the pic reminded me of trees and leaves and stuff. I agree, Zephyr may be a bit hard, but Paolo Nutini type is a bit retro stylee. Don't think that would be right. But some sort script though.
there's a fine line between the countryside and country music…
Yeah I like the earth tones of the top left one, but preffer the texture of the one on the right.
And no we are feinitely not country, but we do have grounded sound, it's hard to pin point what type of music we are 'cause there's alot of versatility to our songs, think Beatles melodies meets Dave grohl on accoustic guitar meets funky catchy and drum beats tunes that get stuck in your head.
ja not as slick as nutini but something that looks more played in, rustic, farm, earth
Hello just saw your stuff. It looks great. I also prefer the revamp of the liam version. It's great. Also agree that bauhaus doesn't fit. I like Vanessa's options too. I like the top right, but with an old cream/brown coloured material texture from an old amp or speaker. Then, maybe an image of an eclipse forming the circle?...or something sky-y? For Zephyr? I love the simplicity of the circle. I think the contrast weighting is the best in the top right one.
