Modernism: designing a new world

In my recent trip to LondonTown I popped into the V&A to check out a special exhibition on Modernism. It was really worth the £9. They told the whole story of Modernis, from 1914 to 1939 and covered everything from houses to cars to theatre. It was also so strange seeing the originals of many familiar pieces of work, such as El Lissitsky's ISM and some of the original furniture. They also have a great modern themed gift shop at the end, where you can buy some modern stuff. I got a ca-te little button that says, Less is More.
The End
