Zephyr does Battle

Hey all, I hope you're all keeping well. You look well in the pictures below, I know I said we were going to be coming down to Durban soon, to do a recording , we still are but we haven't set any dates yet. We've got quite a bit on at the moment that we've been concentrating on. Would be nice to catch up with you all again though.
On Saturday we were entered into the KZN leg of the Battle of the bands, though alas we did not win there was alot of positives to take from it, even though they only anounce the band that wins, from the crowd response we got on and off the stage we must have been up there somewhere, and no we hadn't been smoking anything. The Judges comments were also really postitive, Peter Jaquire (the One Judge from SABC) commented that he really liked what we were doing and where are going with our sound, that it was very refreshing to hear our music amongst so many South African Bands that are going the Punk and hard rock route. On our crit sheet he left his no asking us to call him so he could get the chance to crit us person to person, I just got off the phone to him about an hour ago and it was really encouraging. It's a great thing in south African Music to meet someone like that who'se pretty high up that actually go out of thier way to help up and coming Musicians.
For now we know what needs work and were focusing on "Southern Cross" any of you up for a weekend in the Hidden Valley at Middlerus? The Thursday before that we're opening for DNA strings at the Red Door in PMB.
Keep in touch - and keep well all
Liam

Thanks Nadja... the Red Door Gig is on the 21st, We'll be opening for "DNA strings". Yeah the Red Door Is really cool - owned by the Same Jamie that started Jamie's and then Burn, it's just moved Venues in 'maritzberg to a bigger Venue. Really similar to Burn back in the day, all that's missing is you guys.

Nice one maestro!!! Keep going, its really cool to hear things are working for you and that you are keeping it real with the music business. What I mean to say is... can I have your autograph. Best to ask now before you get too famous.
